Fluorescence Interest Group
The Fluorescence Interest Group (FIG) focuses on applications of fluorescence techniques in biomedical research, as well as on fundamental questions in photophysics. While FIG is not primarily an image-based group, it is clear that fluorescence methods are the basis of powerful imaging modalities that have been developed in recent years and are often topics of discussion. The goal of the FIG is to foster communication and collaborations between researchers who use fluorescence-based methods, or those who might wish to do so and hope to find knowledgeable colleagues with whom to discuss research interests.
