Intramural Research Communications & Resources
The OIR Office of Communications helps to coordinate and communicate about trans-NIH activities. These include various NIH lecture events and scientific gatherings, such as the Wednesday Afternoon Lecture Series (WALS) and the annual NIH Research Festival, as well as trans-NIH programs, such as the Scientific Interest Groups. The NIH Catalyst serves as the official publication for and about the NIH intramural research community. The Office of Communication also oversees content for the outward-facing Intramural Research Program Website at irp.nih.gov, in addition to various internal communications between the Deputy Director for Intramural Research (DDIR) and the intramural scientific staff.
