Microarray Users Scientific Interest Group
The Microarray Users SIG promotes the study and discussion of gene expression analysis. In addition to microarray technology the group has evolved to include consideration and study of all high-throughput methods for gene expression analysis including bioinformatics. Participants in the SIG include the full range of skill-sets from wet-lab bench work to bioinformatics programming. Networking and interaction among individuals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets is an important feature of the group.
Currently, the Microarray Users SIG meets once a month for a journal club. Members are encouraged to suggest papers that they find interesting or intriguing. Research presentations are also always welcome.
