Retinal Disease Interest Group (RDIG)
The process of vision is initiated in the retina, which is the most accessible part of the central nervous system, supplying a large proportion of sensory input to the brain. Visual dysfunction, especially those affecting the retina is observed in a large number of inherited and syndromic diseases. The goal of RDIG is to promote interactions among scientists interested in the biology, pathogenesis and treatments of neurodegenerative diseases, and visual system disorders. All are welcome to attend the seminars and participate in the discussions.
