Vascular Biology Interest Group
The purpose of the vascular biology SIG is to connect labs at the NIH studying vascular biology, provide a forum for feedback about unpublished work, provide a forum for trainees to present their work, and provide a space for invited speakers about vascular biology. The seminars will occur on the last Monday of each month at 12 pm in a hybrid format (with some exceptions for holidays). This monthly seminar started as the joint angiogenesis meeting in 2008 with Brant Weinstein (NICHD), Silvio Gutkind (NIDCR, now in UCSF), Xuri Li (NEI, now in China), and Trian Chavakis (NCI, now in Germany). Currently the seminar is scheduled monthly through the end of FY25. The group is open to mentoring.
