Chromatin and Chromosomes Scientific Interest Group
The primary function of the Chromatin and Chromosomes Scientific Interest Group is to communicate information on relevant Symposia, Workshops and Seminars to all NIH scientists interested in chromatin, epigenetics and gene regulation. We are closely associated with the NCI Center of Excellence in Chromosome Biology (CECB). The CECB organizes a major Symposium on the NIH campus every 18 months, inviting internationally renowned speakers from both outside and within NIH. The CECB and the Interest Group also organize three half-day Workshops every year, featuring a highly regarded outside scientist as Keynote Speaker and talks by NIH Postdocs. CECB members also sponsor many seminars.
Interest Group members are encouraged to share seminar notices, relevant employment opportunities and technical questions with the other members of the group using our NIH_Chromatin listserv.
