Fibrosis Scientific Interest Group
The Fibrosis Scientific Interest Group aims to provide a forum for individuals from NIH and the extramural community to discuss basic, translational and clinical research related to fibrosis. Trainees, basic laboratory researchers and clinicians from academic institutions or medical centers are welcome to join this group.
The Fibrosis Scientific Interest Group meets monthly to engage in interactive discussions focusing on our memberships’ interests related to fibrosis and to organize seminars. Invited speakers present their projects related to fibrosis and may include intramural or extramural researchers. These monthly meetings facilitate collaborations across the NIH, potentially create synergy between research programs, stimulate productive and insightful feedback on research findings, and provide opportunities to offer mentoring to trainees.
