Ms. Ashleigh Avalos serves as the CRISPI REDCap Manager. She helps direct the strategic planning, governance, and policy creation for the CRISPI REDCap platform while ensuring adherence to necessary compliance protocols.

A dedicated REDCap administrator since 2015, Ashleigh has spent the last decade working with multiple large research institutions. During this time, she has led complex technical initiatives, supervised system-wide maintenance across multiple REDCap installations, and established rigorous security and software validation protocols.

She began her career coordinating large-scale clinical research registries and managing scientific IT infrastructure, developing a strong foundation in enterprise IT service management and data reliability. Today, Ashleigh is a recognized leader in the field; in 2024, she was awarded MVP of the international REDCap Consortium for her technical excellence and dedicated contributions to the global REDCap community.

Ashleigh holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary arts and sciences from the University of Washington. Her expertise includes enterprise REDCap database administration, data governance, regulatory compliance, and technical stakeholder engagement.
