Translational and Clinical Research Scientific Interest Group
The mission of the Translational & Clinical Research Scientific Interest Group (TCR-SIG) is to advance clinical excellence by fostering innovative, cross-disciplinary collaboration among physician-scientists, researchers, engineers, and regulatory experts. TCR-SIG provides a platform for learning, collaboration, and mentorship that accelerates the translation of fundamental scientific discoveries into meaningful clinical applications. Through seminars, forums, and symposia, the group promotes shared understanding of clinical research, clinical trial design, and regulatory science to bridge the gap between bench research and patient care.
Our vision is to cultivate a dynamic, connected scientific community across NIH and FDA that drives forward the next generation of translational and clinical breakthroughs. TCR-SIG aspires to be a leading catalyst for collaborative discovery, rigorous clinical research, and the development of innovative therapies that improve patient outcomes. We envision a forward-thinking environment in which trainees, fellows, and early-career scientists receive mentorship and support, empowering them to become future leaders in translational medicine and clinical excellence.
Our SIG succeeds the Translational Research Interest Group (TRIG).
